WHPS Greenfield, Burlington and Janesville, WI Bus Trip

On this one day trip, we will visit the gardens of Will Radler (hybridizer of Knock Out Roses), enjoy an Italian lunch at That’s Amore Restaurant, then explore Northwind Perennial Farm and Rotary Botanical Gardens.

Tour Times and Date: Wednesday, June 5, 2019. We will leave at approximately 7AM and return at approximately 6:30PM, departing/returning from the South Towne parking lot.

Tour Leader: Carrol Schiller, third@tds.net

Cost: $69 per person ($12 membership fee for non-members)

Registration Deadline: May 20, 2019

Included: Bus and driver tip, all admission fees and lunch. Lunch options are chicken parmigiana, meaty lasagna or mushroom ravioli, and include a non-alcoholic beverage and spumoni ice cream for dessert.

Not included: There will be NO water or beverages on the bus – please plan accordingly and bring your own refillable water bottle or beverage for the day.

Traveler Fitness: Travelers should be in reasonably good health, able to board a motorcoach in a timely manner, climb stairs, and walk moderate distances over sometimes uneven ground and in inclement weather.

Liability: By registering for this trip, you agree to release Wisconsin Hardy Plant Society, trip tour guide and board members from any liability for loss or injury of any kind on this tour.

Refunds: Refunds may be requested until May 20th. All refunds will be paid via check. If you originally paid online, you will be refunded the trip cost but will forfeit your transaction fee. Contact wisconsinhps@gmail.com to cancel your spot and request a refund.

When you pull up to Will Radler’s Greenfield home, you expect to see roses. Lots of roses. After all, he is known worldwide for propagating the Knock Out series of roses. What you do see on his two acre property is a wide variety of trees, shrubs, conifers, perennials, annuals, tropical plants and unique cactus surrounding a massive rose garden. Will Radler and his assistant will lead tours of his delightful gardens.
